Radon in Water Treatment |
The AIRaider™ 433 diffused bubble aeration system is designed for point of entry removal of radon from private water supplies for residential use. It is capable of 99+% radon reduction at 7 - 20 gpm. flow rates. Special anti-fouling diffusers are employed to distribute filtered high pressure air though the treatment chambers. Released radon is vented to a safe dispersal point via a 50mm air discharge pipe. There is no filter medium so there is no radioactive build up and no potential disposal problems. |
RAD 7 Continuous Radon Monitors |
These are computer controlled, electronic solid state monitors, calibrated for accurate radon measurements in air, soil and water. They are used for grab sample air measurements as well as extended monitoring over weeks or months. Where an indication of radon levels is required quickly, as in house purchase situations, we offer a 3 day test. |

Whole House Ventilation with Heat Recovery |
In today's hermetically sealed home environments the need for fresh air is sometimes ignored in the quest for energy efficiency. A healthy home needs to exchange the stale polluted air that will build up with, healthy, fresh air to maintain pleasant living conditions. A whole house heat recovery ventilation system will promote a healthy atmosphere with out a costly heating penalty. Increased ventilation also aids radon reduction in addition to other benefits such as condensation control. We install systems and can balance the airflows for optimum efficiency in new and existing systems. |

Investigation of Failed SSD Systems |
On-Site investigation of Sub Soil Depressurisation Systems (SSD) failing to achieve desired reductions. |
Investigative techniques comprise external visual inspection of fans and pipework together with pipework pressure and radon measurements. These can now also include the internal examination of pipework and chambers using a CCTV camera. |
