World renowned professor Dr. Fritz Steinhauser revealed that there is now firm evidence that radon posed a significant health risk in all parts of the world. He thus began his conference address with the statement that, ‘No one on this planet need ask the question any more whether radon is a reality or a myth’. As professor of physics and biophysics at the University of Salzburg, a management co-ordinator of radon research for the World Health Organisation (WHO) and a director of the International Energy Agency, Dr. Steinhauser had the credentials to back up his opinion.
